screen stopped visually working but touch still works

my iphone 6 randomly went black last week, but if i touch it i hear the clicks of my pass code or plug it in it still vibrates, someone got me a digitizer i replaced it and it still did the same thing , they said it was a cheap one too, so idk if i should purchase one on here. i have an i phone 5 that needs a new one , that i was thinking about using until i can get my 6 fixed. if anyone can help me please do

Sounds like you have a broken LCD. With iPhones seperating the LCD and the digitizer isn't an easy thing. I'm wondering what you mean by a new digitizer. It could just be that you need a new display assembly, like this one

I am starting to think you have water damage, and there's an issue with your LCD socket. But that's a whole different can of worms. I would try putting on a new display assembly first, using this guide

i got a new screen just it was a cheap one online, do you think this one from this site would work

Don't buy cheap screens. Most of the time the glass will just push up from the front display frame due to badly done adhesive. Or they just come with digitizer / display issues shortly after.

I can't tell you if it would work because your screen does not show any display as of now.

i just bought one from this site and it still does the samething, and i went to i dropped and they said it may be a software issue
