Getting around screen burn-in

My Galaxy S4 has a burn-in problem. It's good for an hour or so, but then videos become un-watchable, and I have to not use it for a while before it goes back to normal. But every now and then, when I re-boot, the colors appear duller, but much better than when it's all burned-in. This goes away after about ten minutes. Is there a way to force it to stay that way? Some kind of setting or app I can use?

Answer this question I have this problem too

I haven't heard of this issue before, but have you ever considered replacing the LCD? Your phone is older now, and I have the same model. I just recently had to repair mine. You can find a cheap LCD on ebay, but never get one that was refurbished. You may also want to get an S4 for donor parts, which is also available on ebay. Hope this helps!
