My laptop powers up but does not start up. Power light on

@combatdad start by connecting an exteranl monitor and see if that shows anything. If so then you know you are having issues with your LCD display. If that does not work remove your batery, the AC power supply and your RAM module. Then hold the power button down for 15-30sec. Replace the AC adapter and one memory module (if you have more than one) and try to see if that made a difference. If it does not It is most likely that you are having mother board issues. Of course you do want to try to access your BIOS at startup and see if that works. If it does than it is possibly your computer cannot find an OS.
