Why isn't my phone charging anymore

Yesterday morning my phone was charging and it was at 100% . Ok so later in the afternoon I tried to charge it and it wasn't working. So me and my sister tried to fix it. So she got a bobby pin, got a flashlight, looked inside of the port and the port was down so we got the bobby pin and stuck it in there to pull it up. After we did that we put the charger in and it still didn't work. So I prayed that it wouldn't die and it died so now I have nothing.

Don't worry! It could always be your charger block or cord. Double check that the phone will not charge with another cord set.

Trick 2: Use a toothbrush that has been dipped in 91%-100% isopropyl alcohol (tap off the excess) and try to clean the port as best as possible.

If this does not work, based on that I cannot find any repair guides on the web right now, I'd recommend taking it to a local repair shop.
