The red power light keeps flashing and LCD will not turn

Sony Alpha 100 Camera will not turn on . The battery is fine in my other Sony 100 camera. The small rear access light (16 ) won't stop flashing, also the LCD doesn't come on the body looks in good condition. I have already cleaned the terminals

Would anyone have a clue what is wrong please?
