when I tried to open my phone it only shows the word "Samsung" and it hang there. it never continues. I still have to get its battery so it closes. when I tried to open it once again, still the same issue occurs. I tried to charge it but it hangs. how can I fix it?

Software issue most likely. If you have no data to backup on the phone then you can try doing a factory reset via turning phone off, hold power button + volume up + home button and when samsung logo pops up stop holding the power button but hold the other two buttons until the recovery menu shows up with text on the screen. Then you can release all keys and use volume keys to navigate the menu up and down.
Use the power button to select a highlighted option. Navigate to 'Wipe Data / Factory Reset' (Power button to select option) and navigate to yes to confirm this option and wait for it to complete it which should take a moment then reboot phone by using volume + power keys.
Hopefully it will boot up successfully otherwise you will need to flash the firmware using the downloaded firmware which matches your phone model number from Sammoible.com using the software ODIN which is used to flash firmware from computer to phone.
You will also need to have the phone plugged in and booted into download mode. Instructions on how to do this are on every download page of system firmware from sammobile.
Alternatively you can also use Samsung Kies and that does a factory reset at the same time if you use it to restore system firmware.
You can find the model number of your phone behind the battery compartment of your phone. Something like GT-i9300 / GT-i9300T / GT-i9305.
