Why won't my phone turn on fully? {bootloop]

Hi,

Phone was working perfectly, then I swapped the battery (I have several batteries which I swap and charge as needed) in my phone and the phone would not turn back on.

ONLY while it's plugged in, the phone vibrates, then the battery symbol with the lightning bolt appears for a split second, then it shuts down and repeats until i unplug it.

When it's plugged in and I hold down the power button, the screen flashes samsung notes 3 (like during normal operation), then shuts down.

Clearly this is an issue with something on the logic board. I think power is not being routed properly from the battery, but I'm not sure. Can you help?

Options

Try checking the contact points on the battery and phone . Occasionally the spring in the 4 contacts goes and one of the contacts isnt up all the way. Hope this helps
