Can I replace the motherboard of water damaged dsi?

My little brother decided to "clean" the cartridge slot by pouring water inside of it and as expected the dsi died is it possible to switch out the mother board and power board along with the battery to fix it as the dsi wasn't submerged in water?

Answer this question I have this problem too

Is this a good question?

Hey,

Did you tried to clean the PCB with isopropyl, maybe the board isnt dead...

If its dead, you can try to replace it with another. There are links for guides on ifixit to do this.

Kind regards,

Kevin
