Device wont turn on after screen reassembly.

So I cracked my screen while running a week ago. I ordered a screen of of Amazon . I changed the Screen successfully, although at first it appeareed that the assembly didnt work. I performed a hard reset and it turned right on. But the next morning I was using my phone (which was working great), and then I realized the screen was a little wobbly and and uneven so I pushed the top left corner of my phone down.I heard a cracking sound and three white bars immediately showed up on my screen on the left side. As they became more clear, the rest of the screen dimmed until it was completely black. There are no cracks in the exterior of my phone. And the first thing I thought was that I couldve left a screw in my phone, and thats why the screen was uneven( i am missing one screw from the plate). When I got home, I plugged my phone in to charge, it made the sound and the LCD was on, but no apple sign, I took my phone apart several times again, cleaning the connectors. After a few hours, the LCD doesn't even turn on, the phone doesn't make sounds but it connects to itunes when it gets plugged in to my computer. Hard resets dont work. Im not sure where the problem originiates but I need my phone to work very soon. I watched a video that recommended removing the battery for another type of hard reset, but Im not sure if I should do that. Is the screen defective or id the problem something else? Also, I have one screw missing from my charging port for some reason, will that have any affect on the functuality of my device?

Answer this question I have this problem too

The cracking sound you heard was your LCD breaking. After that point, the screen was lost. In order to get your phone working again you will need to get another screen and replace it. A battery reset is helpful, but no different than a hard reset. A battery reset will not make your screen work again.

The pentalobe screw by your charging port has no effect on the functionality of your device and is only there to hold the screen down.

Thanks for replying.

If the problem was the LCD, why is it that my phone stopped vibrating or masking a charging noise when I plugged it in. I even used nother screen that worked and tried it (but I forgot to try a hard reset, so Im not sure what that proves. And how come it broke so easily?

Your phone could be completely dead (it won't vibrate or make the charging noise if so) or the battery disconnected. Sometimes when you replace the screen, you need to do a hard reset to get the LCD to show an image (if the phone was dead it would need to be plugged in to show an image).

If the screen was wobbly after the repair (wasn't sitting right) it is probable you had frame damage (mashed in corners, sides, etc.) That can affect the screen's fit on the phone and if the damage is bad enough trying to force a fit can break the screen.

Alternatively, it could be just a low quality part.
