Can anyone help me fix my Xbox 360
I've tried to fix this by downloading the latest update and putting it on a usb and disk but I keep getting the same screen

I don't get any error code or any red lights
when entering the usb : was it formatted to FAT32? try to format the usb to FAT32 and try again. good luck.

The usb is formatted to fat32
Have you tried powering up the console while holding the sync button? I was under the impression that this combination was specifically for failed updates and will clear the update.

do you have enough storage space?
Can you use the xbox to enter your account or profile? Or is it completle stuck at this screen?
