No sound or picture

Have a Samsung 50 inch plasma and there is no sound or picture. The was a power surge tv went off and came on. Several hous later stopped showing picture or sound.. Check surge protector and came on for few min.

It sounds like the power surge damaged the TV the main board probably needs to be replaced but if it's an older TV it might not be cost effective.

Sorry wish I had better news if you are prone to power usdues where you live you might consider purchasing a high quality UPS system APC makes excellent ones not cheap though but in the long run they could end up saving you money.
