I am having trouble connecting my controller to my Amazon Fire TV, what are the compatible generations of the Amazon Fire TV?

The Amazon Fire Game Controller, the first generation controller, is compatible with both first and second generation Amazon Fire TVs.

If you cannot connect, then you may have a newer controller trying to pair with an older stick.. I have found that the Nvida Shield Game Pad is compatible with the Fire Tv Sticks/Boxes. Try and find a used one for around $20 on Offerup, Ebay, or Letgo.
