What board should I use for replacement?

I currently have a Verizon HTC One M8 (HTC6525LVW). While trying to fix a gps issue (bend antenna to make better contact with case), I snapped off the little antenna for the gps.

It's located on the daughter board on the top of the phone, so I'm guessing that I need to replace the whole daughter board. When shopping around for boards do I have to go with the exact replacement for my Verizon model or are they interchangeable between carriers/models? I have found a few from China that don't offer a model number and only list compatibility as "HTC One M8". After replacement will this affect any of the firmware currently on the phone?

Wow, this was old but I found this since I have a similar issue.

If you have the tools and the skill, you can solder a small wire where the antenna used to be. Make sure it's long enough to make contact with the case but short enough so not to get interference.

If that fails, replace the daughter board. They aren't horribly expense
