What pins to test for battery voltage?

Phone won't power on. Itunes won't recognize it. I have it taken apart but cannot see anything suspicious. I've read the battery may be toast? what other areas/parts should I check? Which pins do you touch with the multimeter to test battery voltage?

Answer this question I have this problem too

I Had the same problem iphone was bricked, charge had ran out and would not connect to itunes or even show the charging screen. I have fitted a new battery less than £5.00 from E-BAY and wow up and running again. The two outer terminals on the battery should read 3.7v anything less its fried.
