Distorted image after digitizer replacement

My iPad screen cracked and I got a replacement digitizer. Unfortunately after going through the whole process of replacing, I realized that I had left the iPad turned on while replacing the digitizer (i.e. disconnecting and reconnecting LCD, digitizer, and home button). Now, the screen just displays white with a grey line across the screen. I'm positive that everything else still works as it still locks and behaves as expected. Anything I can do before I try to reseat the LCD connectors?

Hey there! A grey line across the screen can sometimes be a sign of graphics issues, but the white screen really screams of a poor contact. Unfortunately, I think you'd best crack her back open, after making sure your iPad is off.

Best of luck in your repair!

Your next step is replacing the backlight filter could of been damage during repair since the battery wasn't disconnected during repair. But requires soldering
