home button component missimg

hi cant get my home button to work after many attempts i realised i was missing a component off the motherboard

If you've realised you're missing a component for the home button, then I suggest you go buy another and install it.

That's assuming that you actually opened the phone and worked on it prior, and lost the part.

If possible, provide a picture and explain what part you're missing.

What component on the motherboard? Can you take a pic and upload it?

It sounds like you may mean one of the two contact prongs which are part of the Charge Port Assembly.

If that's the case, if you know how to solder, you can solder something there in lieu of the prong... or you need to replace the charge port assembly.
