iPod wont respond after playing minecraft and trying to play music

I was playing minecraft and tried to swipe up to play music and that didn't respond, so I tried double tapping home button and that didnt work so I started playing around to see what it would respond to and I could stiull play minecraft and everything and suri still worked but when I pressed lock button screen turned off like supposed to and suri still works and all but nothing else does also it wont turn back on. also no response when plugged into computer so far

Hold home button and power button for 15 seconds. Hopefully that solves the issue.

It seems to me that this is a problem because the developers have stopped updating the version for iPods. My friend had exactly the same problem, it is for this reason that he switched to the computer version. He searched a lot for the free version of the game, but could not install it.
