How do I remove and reattach the plates to change the cooking surfaces ?

To remove and reattach the plates in order to change the cooking surfaces what you need to do is press on the metal clips that are located on either side of the griddler. Make sure that both clips are pressed down when removing the plates and when installing new plates make sure that both of the clips latch onto the plate to ensure that the griddler functions properly.

My cuisinart GR-4N, top side can’t hold the metal plate properly, one side of the grid is loose can’t hold the metal plate firmly. Can help to advise how to trouble shot this issue?
