No Wifi hardware installed after iFixIt screen replacement

I have ordered two screens, both separate orders from iFixit for screen replacements for the 2012 Apple Macbook Pro 13"... each time, I replace the screen and I receive the "No Wifi Hardware Installed" icon. When I put the broken screen back on, the wifi works normally.

I have reinstalled the operating systems with no luck...

Any suggestions?

Hi, did you ever find a fix? I'm having the exact same issue.

Travis I'm thinking the OP either mis ID'd his system or in fact the ribbon cable was bad. If you review Step7 in this IFIXIT guide: MacBook Pro 13" Unibody Mid 2012 AirPort/Bluetooth Board Replacement and here's the needed part MacBook Pro 13" Unibody (Early 2011/Late 2011/Mid 2012) Airport/Bluetooth Cable - Apple P/N 922-9780

Agreed, makes no sense! The Clutch cover in this series only has the WiFi & Bluetooth antennas. Are you sure you have this model? As an example, this model has the AirPort board is in the clutch cover: MacBook Pro 13" Unibody Mid 2009 AirPort Card Replacement

This is weird. Are you sure you properly plugged the airport/bluetooth daughter board with the new screen?
