Solarized Picture - Sanyo TV. Already replaced mainboard.

I have a Sanyo DP46819 with a solarized picture. When I bring up the menu, behind the menu, the picture is not solarized, but normal. Outside of the menu, it is solarized. This made me think it was a bad mainboard. I replaced the mainboard today but same problem. Any thoughts?

Answer this question I have this problem too

Chris Lee what is your definition of "solarized"? Post some images of what you see with your question. Use this guide Adding images to an existing question for that

Do you mean gray lines or black lines on your screen? If everything else works fine and your having funny things like lines showing on your screen it's the Timing Control Board T-CON for short. Now if your calling solarized as the screen being bright in one area and not the other...It could be the back light Inverter Board, For an LED TV it's called an LED Driver Board. Could even be a connection within the backlight array, or a bad back light.

Chris Lee, if it is truly solarized and you have a clear(non-solarized) then the most common issue is a bad power board (you already ruled that out) a bad T-Con board as well as a bad panel. the only way to make that determination is by replacing the T-Con board. Should the image still be solarized, then you have a bad LCD panel. Of course, you do want to make sure that all the cables are properly installed and in good order.
