Can the prongs on the bottom be repaired
The ipod won't turn on at all. The best buy tech support says it is the bottom part ( white) where the prongs are and that they aren't working right.

If by prongs you mean the dock connector, you would have to replace the entire logic board. The dock connector is attached to the logic board and cannot be repaired by itself typically. Depending on which model and capacity you have, you can determine if it's worth it.
