5C Types On its Own

Hello,

Since this year i have allot of problems with iPhone 5C screen replacements. At the beginning they work fine but after a week or something customers complain about the problem that the iPhone is typing on his own.

Its only with the 5C and no other iPhone type.

Does anyone have a explanation or a solution?!

Regards

How much approximately do you pay for the screens? Also is there non-transparent black tape put behind the soldered backlight cable (This is soldered on the digitizer ribbon cable). If it isn't you will see 3 vertical soldered points that isn't covered by black tape. This may be the cause of the issue.

Have you made sure that you have plugged in the front display ribbon cables correctly where the cable plugs themselves are not concave? You can check this by looking at the metal part of the display ribbon plugs. If it is you can use your hands to flatten them so it contacts better.

Could be a bad batch of screens or your supplier went bad.

I agree with Ben. You should try a different supplier. They could have a bad batch and batches could be in the 100's of screens. I had issues with 5c screens and back light flicker. After many headaches I swapped suppliers and never looked back. I rarely have a problem with replacement parts now.

Before I dropped the phone out of my locker my 5c always typed on it's own well it fell from the top of my locker and the top conners of my screen popped out and I popped it back in and it stopped typing on its own.. But sometimes i have to restart it but it's whatever.
