Why is there a burning smell coming from my dryer?
There is a burning smell coming from my dryer. I have checked lint traps and vents. They are clear of lint.

You may have lint on the heating element, disconnect from power and vacuum/ blow out any debris from the heating coils.

@aj123 does it still dry properly? Besides the smell have you noticed anything else? Any noise coming from the dryer?
