The Toyota Tacoma is a pickup truck manufactured in the U.S. by the Japanese automobile manufacturer Toyota since 1995. The first generation Tacoma, model years 1995½ through 2004, was classified as a compact pickup. The second generation was classified as mid-size. Hi,

There are two power wires to your audio system. One is from the ignition to run the audio. The other is to maintain the 'memory'.

Here is an image that shows the wiring for a 1998 Tacoma, (you do not state your model year so hopefully it may be the same).

As you can see there are two (2) fuses feeding the radio. The Radio fuse and the Dome fuse. Check that both are OK. If so then perhaps there is a problem with either the wiring or the connections to the radio.
