Can I fix a speaker myself?

Hi,

iPhone 5c, after a bang (ok dropped) on the top, speaker sounds all crackled and quiet. Looks like it could be cheap for me parts wise if this is the right part? http://www.iparts-4u.co.uk/mobile-phone-... If thats right, does anyone know if its a difficult job an would I need anything else? Bit long winded bu never taken one part before!

Thanks

Hello Gavin,

It's a pretty simple fix. Make sure to disconnect the battery prior to removing the display assembly. Also, take great care when replacing the screen. Make sure the connections are lined up before pressing the connections down.

Take care

Holger
