Hi,

Here is a link which shows how to replace the battery in your Galaxy Note 10.1 2014.

It is handy because it shows how to open your tablet. At 2:28 minutes into the video the charge port flex cable is visible. At this point you have good access so as to replace the cable with its associated components, without too much more dis-assembly.

You will have to work out how to remove the charger port end of the cable from the tablet as it does not show how to do this, it only shows how to remove the board connector end.

Here is a link to a supplier for the charge port flex cable. It is not a recommendation to use them. It is only to show you what the replacement part looks like.

Hopefully this is of some help.

jayeff, thanks, I appreciate your help. I do know how to take the battery out though. I didn't think that maybe if I remove it, I could then access the charger, but nope, still can't get it out, SOooOO...... I wrote to Samsung themselves and hope they will help. But thank you thank you!!
