Voice recognition used to talk to Siri or record texts verbally, etc. stopped working. My speaker is not faulty because I can have a speaker phone conversation. I suspect water damage is to blame.

Hello,
The phone is having three microphones. One is down to the left of the charging port, one is up near the ear piece and one near the rear camera. The one that is taking care of siri and voice dictation is the one near the ear piece. You need to change the flex that is having the mic, prox sensor and ear piece contacts.
