How do I fix the white screen of death?

I recently ordered parts to upgrade the MacBook Pro. I ordered an SSD and RAM. I checked with Crucial to get the correct parts for my computer.

After I upgraded the parts, the laptop does not get through the white screen. There is no chime. My keyboard does not work. I try plugging in a wired keyboard, but it seems the USB ports do not work as well. How can I reset anything if I cannot do any boot commands? Is it possible that something got loose during the hardware upgrade?

After several attempts, I was able to get into Safe Mode once. But my keyboard does not work, so I am assuming the computer automatically put itself into Safe Mode.... It works fine in Safe Mode except the keyboard, track pad, and sound does not work.... The track pad is actually not connected at the moment, because I am currently waiting on a replacement track pad to come in the mail.

Any suggestions?

Thank you in advance.

Not sure if this will work in this case but I got it from the best source out there

Pull one of the RAM sticks. On the first reboot reset the PRAM, here's how:

@jimfixer - Jim is that really the best source you know? Is that an elbow to your ribs? How does it do booting from the original system installation disk?

have no idea I say you use this on something simalar two days ago I usually stay away from answering Mac questions but no one else was touching this so I thought it may help. And as far as Mac sources go you tend to know your stuff
