Are you saying your speedometer and tachometer are going on and off, as in functions and then doesn't and then does again? If so, the connector at the back of the instrument cluster is loose or not making good contact. The terminals may be corroded or broken. Check that first.

You will need to disassemble the dash board to get at the connector. As for disassembly of your particular model, check some forums and youtube for guides.
