Where can I purchase a new AC/DC adapter?

it and broke the end off that goes into the PC. I went to Best Buy and bought an Insignia universal laptop charger and it works, but I think it might damage my PC. Should I use it or send it back?

Hi,

The official Toshiba specifications for the laptop is:

Power Supply

Input 100-240V/50-60Hz AC Adapter

Output 75W (19V x 3.95A) Auto-sensing

The specifications for the adapter are printed on it.

As long as yours is showing that the output is 19VDC and that the current is somewhere between 3.9A and 4.5A there should be no problem in using it.

you can find the proper charger on amazon or ebay . If you used it and it worked without damaging the laptop then your probably ok with it but if you havent used it and your not sure see if the specifications on the original charger match the new one before using it
