PS3 Super Slim Hard drive

i want to upgrade my 12gb to a 500gb ps3. now i get two options 4001s and 4201. my PS3 is the 4201. now when the part arrives do i simply pop the new one in and I'm good to go? there is not much instructions that seem to be coming with the part.

Options

From the Changing or upgrading the PlayStation 3 Super Slim Hard Disk Drive (HDD), the Superslim will reformat the hard drive and it will be ready for use.

You can also review PS3 Backup Utility if you want to backup and restore the information from your old hard drive before you upgrade to the larger drive you purchased.
