Can you fix a charging port

I dropped the my laptop while the charger was plugged in and I think a piece of the laptop broke off. I have to push the charger cable inside the laptop for it to charge. Can I fix this issue or do I have to buy another laptop

Hi Tony

I have the same laptop but I have never open it before.

You need to open the laptop and see where the charging jack is located.

I think this one is cable that connect to the motherboard, so you probably broke the plastic that hold the jack in place.

You will need to open the laptop and see if there is way of securing it on one place.

Good luck
