sync button for controller

ok i have xb1 elite and the the controller was disconnecting a lot i took the xb1 apart to check connections everything looked fine but the rf wire came loose during disassemble.I reconnected now the sync button works i hear the speaker when i press the button but nothing happens do i need a anther rf board or wifi .thanks

Options

Sounds like you probably need a new WiFi cable and RF board. There's no way to know for sure since I can't see it but from your description this is probably what you need.

thanks for the quick reply my other question is if i swap out these parts would it cause me to get banned and also do i need to search for a pacific model of board. thanks

No, you wouldn't get banned for swapping out these parts, there is no way that anyone would know that they have been swapped out nor would they care. As far as I know they fit all of the boards but I haven't tried them on the Xbox Elites so I can't say for sure.
