LCD Replacement Didnt work

So today I was replacing an iPhone 6 Black screen and when I turned on the phone the backlight turned on but no screen and then everything went blank. Tried everything. Disconnecting the battery, putting the old screen back on etc etc. I use anti static watches, gloves and plastic bits on the actual phone. I have also been fixing phones for over 3 years and this has never happened to me. On top of that the computer recognizes the phone when I plug it in. Whats going on?

Answer this question I have this problem too

Is this a good question?

Backlight IC could be faulty. So old screen does same thing?

Did you test the phone before opening it? Or was the phone's old screen already no good?

Nick I don't mean to insult you but if you put the old screen as well as a few new screens and still no display but the backlight turns in, plug in a fully charged battery and see what happens. I've noticed when i test a batch/lot of LCD's to determine if they are refurb worthy and my test phones power source is low, the backlight will light up however the display is blank. I plug phone directly into my power supply and voilà... Check it out, you never know...
