iPhone keeps restarting and not registering touch

Ive recently smashed the screen of my IPhone 5c and it made my entire home button come loose and fall off, with this i've had to use assistive touch to take screenshots, go to the "home" page, etc. So i cant force restart my phone or anything. Basically i was just using my phone (its worked fine before this) and it just froze and i couldn't press anything, my assistive touch wasnt working. nothing. I plugged it in to charge and it turned of then on, i still couldn't touch anything. and now it just keeps restarting over and over again. PLEASE HELP ITS URGENT!!

The issue could be anything from the battery to a board issue.

Based on the fact that you connected it to a charger and it rebooted, I would be thinking you have what's known as U2 damage, which is caused by using cheap chargers. This would explain all of your symptoms.

Basically, you should first try another battery, and obviously the screen is going to need to be replaced at some point.

If the battery doesn't get the device turning on, you will need to send it to someone for board level repair. There's a link on my profile to a website to help you locate someone near you.

Before doing anything though, i would be throwing away any aftermarket wall chargers, and car chargers you have. The damage likely came from one of these
