Is the motherboard on the 3g version different from the wifi version

Is there a difference between the two motherboards? If I were to put one motherboard into the other would it function differently?

I know it's been a year but I couldn't find an answer so I tested it myself, you can replace the main board of a 3G vita with a Wifi Mainboard and it will work perfectly fine, you can't do this the other way around though
