Fan connector socket broken

Hello, so I was cleaning my ps3 and when I tried to pull the fan connector from its socket, the socket came up with it too. The socket was attached to the motherboard. Is it possible that I attach it back somehow? Soldering will work?

(I tried to place the socket in its place and then just put some tape on it to keep it in place but fan won't turn on.)

First image shows where the socket was attached.

It looks like you have torn the pads off the board, so there is nothing to solder the connector back on to. You would need to find where those pads go to on the board, expose some of the copper trace, and run a jumper from the connector to those points. You need good soldering skills and equipment for this work.
