I need help identifying this capacitor/resistor/component

Hello, I have a Macbook Pro 15" A1398 Late 2013 that previously had the broken screen assembly replaced but after was not displaying at all. When I opened it up and checked the connector, it was halfway in and the component pictured was half melted. I believe this is the reason it wont display, and I need to identify it so I can get a new one and get it soldered on.

The laptop does still display to an external HDMI monitor. If anyone has any other insight to this problem, it would be greatly appreciated. Thank you :)
