Neither camera working after screen replacement.

After replacing my screen (iPhone 6) neither of my cameras are working (along with the LED flash). When I open the camera app, a black screen appears. I have checked that all ribbon cables are intact (both front and rear camera) and nothing seems to be out of order.

Also, I haven't upgraded to ios 9 for personal reasons. Im running ios 8.4.

Answer this question I have this problem too

Is this a good question?

Have you tried a hardware reset? Home and power held down until the phone boots to Apple logo.

Try with new front camera flex. Sometimes that is the fix.

try back up everything to itune and then put your phone into DFU mode to restore the new software in case that is the software buds. than if you want to stay at iOS 8 or whatever go online download new software that you desired. To use that software ,click on the restore button while holding Shift(win) option(mac) then select the file that you just download

Probably only one of the cameras is faulty. The camera app often freezes up when it can't find the first one, making it difficult to switch to the other one. Since the flash isn't working I would start with replacing the back camera first. Download some other camera apps as well. Snapchat for example has the front camera set as default.
