Hi I have read that Apple will brick your phone if you now open it up to change a screen. I need someone to clarify if this is the case still.. I just want to simply replace the LCD with a new one keep the same home button
Will my phone get bricked ??? I'm on the latest update unfortunately and have read this

Error 53 is for a broken Touch-id iPhone trying to update it. If you replace the LCD without any damage to your touch-id your phone won't get bricked.
