x axis inverted on digitizer after replacement

I have an asus tp550la transformer notebook that has recently had the digitizer replaced. y axis is fine but the x axis is reversed, when you tap from centre to right, it shows you going left! I have replaced the digitizer twice and completely wiped the hard drive to no avail.

There are 2 versions of the touch screen for this model. I'm willing to bet that you have the wrong one. That's the only thing that I'm aware of that can cause this.

I am having the same issue, but the calibration tool does not resolve the issue. Before calibration I can touch anywhere on the screen and drag my finger to see that it recognizes everywhere on the screen, but it is completely inverted in one axis. After the calibration it fixes the inversion, but it screws up the step count for one axis. Basically in one corner of the screen it shows my touch exactly where I am clicking, but as I move to the opposite corner of the device the touch is off by about an inch. It appears to be linear as I drag my finger across the screen. Is there a way to manually edit the calibration data and just add a negative sign to one axis of the calibration?

I am having TP550LA SH51T -CB

Its touchscreen is damaged - display is ok,

I need to know how to identity PART NUMBER orTouchscreen version.

I need to buy from ebay and install rather than to pay 510 CAD to Asus Support.

Please help !
