Hi,
Here is a link to the service manual for your laptop.
On p.66 it details how to dis-assemble the laptop so you can remove the Power Connector cable and DC bracket. The spare parts numbers are also listed on the same page. If you 'Google' HP + the spare part number you will get information on suppliers.
