Inside Refrig temperature cycles up and down from 35 to 41 F

Our Whirlpool side by side Refrigerator model no ED5FHEXVS04 does not maintain a temperature it cycles up and down thru the course of the day from 35 deg F to 41 deg F.

Hi,

Just some thoughts. Is the compressor running continually trying to maintain the temperature? There are numerous causes for this to happen, all which make for temperature control problems.

Is there a good seal on the door? A quick test is to place a sheet of paper between the door and the fridge body (at various places) and see how easy it is to pull it out. (it shouldn't be that easy, paper should stay in place at least).

Is the door left open often and for how long at a time?
