I need a way to hard reset Zenfone 2 with paperclip jumpers?

Asus Zenfone 2 E ZOOD

My Zenfone 2 seems to have malware that won't let screen come on. It won't restart, or reset using volume up key & power. If I could disconnect battery without voiding warranty I think it would fix it. Is there a way to use a paperclip and service holes to temporarily reset or disconnect battery?

Options

To my knowledge you can't jump a mobile device like you can some computer motherboards. If you hold the power button (sometimes power+volume down) it should turn the phone completely off. Once it is off you can follow http://www.hardreset.info/devices/asus/a... to hard reset the device to remove the offending software. Hope this helps.
