Switched polarity on ThinkPad X1 Carbon motherboard

I've got here a non working (no response at all) ThinkPad X1 Carbon (first generation), which I bought on the auction. There was a problem with power jack(#1), so someone installed a new one(#2) which looks the same, but it's not. I've got here another tested power jack(#3) from the exact laptop model and I measured all of those jacks - the problem is, that jack #2 (which was installed in this non-working laptop when I bought it) is from some different ThinkPad and it has switched polarity (ground and Vcc+).

So that motherboard recieved Vcc+ (20V from the adapter) on the GND and GND from adapter on pin that is supposed to be Vcc+. No component on the motherboard looks burned and all the fuses are OK.

I need some short advice what to look for. I repaired a lot of macbook motherboards (I'm a big fan of Louis Rossmann's YT channel), SMD soldering is not a problem, but I cannot even find datasheets and boardview files for this ThinkPad, so I'm quite lost...

Answer this question I have this problem too

Is this a good question?

Hi,

No advice but here is a link to the service manual. Unfortunately it doesn't give what you want but it may come in handy for you in some other way.
