My phone mic is not working

Hi,

Have you checked that during a call the microphone is not turned off. There should be a microphone symbol icon on the screen when you make a call. Ensure there is no line through it. If there is the microphone is muted. Tap it to turn it on.

Can you make a call using the earphones with a microphone attached.

If they can hear you it proves that the voice sending circuitry of the phone is working and that you are correct that the internal microphone is faulty.

If they cannot hear you then there is a fault with the mainboard and it is easier to replace the phone than try to fix it.
