I changed the battery. Why isn't the power steering and radio working

I changed the battery. Now the power steering and radio don't work. The instrument panel lights are not functioning properly and the door locks don't engage when I put the car in gear.

Have you checked your fuse panel? You may have surged it somehow while removing the battery and blown various fuses. I would check there first if you're still experiencing these problems.
