Why won’t it stay on

alcatel onetouch idol 6030

Changed the LCD on my onetouch idol, and now it will turn on with the back cover off. When I put the back cover on it will not turn on, or if its already on it turns off

It might be making a short when you put it on. Check for any exposed areas touching the board and such.

thank you, I think thats the problem, i'm having a hard time finding the short
