iPhone will not charge after taking apart. PLEASE HELP (read below)

I really need help.

I am going to replace the screen for my iphone 4. I got to step 13 (removing the EMI shield 2) when I decided to wait until the screen came (I was practicing and making sure I could understand it) I put it all back together and made sure all of the connections where together. The phone ran out of charge and now it WONT charge. I have checked the cable and the charging dock and all is ok. PLEASE HELP ME ASAP

Reconnect the charging port (dock) flex cable very carefully, Step 9. It can be difficult to get just right. If still problem, take a very close look at the battery connector receptacle on the logic board. You probably lifted or damaged one or more of the battery logic board solder pads. Steps 5 and 8 for photos of battery connector socket.

Hi brad,

The flex cable clicks when I put it back in, this is the same for the battery connector, is that meant to happen? If so the battery is still not charging..... Any other solutions???
