Is it possible to upgrade network card to use handoff?

i cant seem to see the airport card in the teardown guide? and i wonder if its possible to upgrade the card to support bluetooth le so handoff will work?

Options

Here is the IFIXIT guide to replace the Bluetooth board: MacBook Pro 17" Unibody Bluetooth Board Replacement. Sadly, there is no replacement part that works. You'll need to get an external dongle.
